Our eye clinic is in the front line concerning the treatment of diseases of the macula. The clinic is a centre for retina surgery, and also houses one of Sweden’s six cornea banks.

Örebro University Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in Sweden and located in the center of Sweden. It’s walking distance from the city center.

The Head and Neck Oncology Centre

Through the Head and Neck Oncology Centre, there is close and successful collaboration between several clinics. The collaboration includes both research and highly specialised treatments.

New treatment methods are developed here, and resources are coordinated to give optimal care and treatment for patients from all over Sweden, and from other parts of Europe, too.

Pictures of maligna melanoma

In cooperation with the Regional Onkologic Centre, Uppsala/Örebro, Sweden, we publish our archive with pictures of different malignant melanomas for an international public.

The purpose of this collection is to give less experienced collegues (and medical students) a possibility to visualize as many melanomas as possible. We also want to contribute to the awareness and education among the public about the disease.
